After clearing out my worldly music playlist and replacing it with my new worship music playlist, my hunger for the Lord literally increased. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t listen to worship music. It feeds my body, soul and spirit. But most importantly, I always feel the presence of the Lord which brings tears to my eyes each time.
I feel so bad that this entire time I’ve been listening to worldly music which only fed my body but not my soul and spirit. I sometimes wish I had received Christ a lot earlier to experience the joy I feel listening to worship music.
But anyway, since you’re reading this post, I bet you’re interested in knowing my favourite worship music playlist, and not to worry I’d be sharing my current favourites with you. I truly wish I could add more, but then this post would be super long, so here are just a few I’ve been loving recently.
My Favourite Worship Music Playlist
You Waited By Travis Greene
The first time I heard this song was after I had just received Christ into my life. When I heard it, it really touched me to the point that I cried uncontrollably. I remember just taking a ride and confessing my sins and apologizing to God for all the times I had sinned. It hurt me to know that this whole time I went about living life and sinning, Jesus was just right there waiting for me to receive him into my life. That’s the deepest love I can ever experience
This song has been on repeat for days as my reminder of how God has been around and never actually left me behind. Whenever I find myself being slightly distracted by worldly things, I just play this song and it gets me right back into God’s presence. I just love it! Travis Greene is one of my absolute favourite worship music artist. In fact, most of the songs you would see on here are by Travis Greene, so just a heads up.
Intentional By Travis Greene
This is the song I play each time I’m waiting on God to bless me with something that I have asked in prayer. It reminds me to trust God and know that He is always on my side and won’t fail me. This song and “while I’m waiting“ by Travis Greene are my songs for trusting God when waiting on Him for provisions.
Knowing that all things are working for my good is just one reason to dance to this song because God would always provide and make preparations for me.
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.” – Romans 8:28
I Surrender by Hillsong Live
I listen to this song each time I literally want to surrender myself to God. When trials come and things seem to be going south, I play this song as a way of surrendering to God for Him to take control.
This song brings me to tears and honestly, I get on my knees whenever I play this song. I play this when I am truly desperate for God and need His love ASAP!
Be Still by Hillsong Worship
Ughh… I love this song!!! Every time I listen to it I remember that my Father is the almighty, all-powerful, living God. I literally feel God’s power in my life hearing this song, and it makes me calm and proud. Another song by Hillsong worship that gives me the same vibe is “Who you say I am”
Why worry, when I can Be still and know that He is God (Psalm 46:10)?
Sometimes, I doubt God without remembering that He is actually GOD!! So this song calms me down and reminds me that I don’t have to worry about anything, but instead, I should pray about everything (Philippians 4:6).
Without Your Love by Travis Greene
I’m sure now you can tell that I’m literally obsessed with Travis Greene’s album. I just love his songs soo much!!
This song, in particular, gets me dancing and moving about. When I need a song to really praise God with, I play this and I sweat my face off. Ugh… This song fills my soul and gets me pumped up, and each time I listen, I smile uncontrollably to the point that my cheeks hurt. This just shows how much Joy I feel when praising God. He is so worthy of the praise!
