It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost five years since I started this blog. When I started, I knew nothing about blogging outside of the fact that I wanted to do it. I was a college student who didn’t know what to do with her life and wanted to share my thoughts and feelings with the world.
I went from making content about beauty to making content about college. Eventually, I ended up writing for food—but it wasn’t until recently that I realized something: I’ve been running away from my true calling.
As you may know, I’ve written about food for years. Food was one of my biggest passions in college, and it’s been so much fun sharing it with you. But now that I’m out of college, I realize there’s more to life than just eating!
My goal has been to be a source of inspiration. And recently, I understood that writing only about food was shutting off that part of me—the part that wanted to help people in more profound ways than just serving them delicious meals (although those are great too!).
So while I love talking about food (because honestly, who doesn’t?), I also want to talk about other things that I know will be helpful to others.
I have recently had some life experiences that have significantly changed me, and I have gained some wisdom from them that I believe is worth sharing.
So, if you’ve been following me and noticed any changes, don’t worry! It’s not because your favorite blogger is abandoning ship or anything! It’s just because she decided it was time for her to change her perspective on life a little bit—and share some wisdom along the way.
It would be best if you didn’t think of this blog as dead or gone forever. Instead, it’s just evolving into something much different than what it used to be.
I hope you will stick around and join me on this new adventure.
