Rose-flower Vegan Homemade Pizza That’s Perfect For Veganuary

I prepared vegan homemade pizza!!

I’m sounding super excited right now because I never believed I was capable of making pizza that is actually vegan. Heck, I never even thought I was capable of making pizza.

But since I’m a newly transitioned vegan, I felt why not give it a try?

In the past, most of my store-bought pizzas consisted of pepperoni, bacon, sausage and ham. Thankfully, that’s not the case anymore because this vegan pizza tastes way better than a lot of those meat-based pizzas I used to eat.

I honestly believe going vegan has made me very creative with the way I prepare food. I constantly find myself making up plant based recipes out of thin air. One of them being this vegan homemade pizza.

Okay, I have to be honest with you. My idea at first was to make vegan bread. But things weren’t going the way I wanted it to in my kitchen. So I decided to switch things up last minute and prepare a homemade pizza.

I’m so glad I did because this recipe pushed me to get creative with my toppings. Oh, and the tomato sauce for this recipe will have you craving more. I promise it tastes way better than your average marinara sauce.

By the way, excuse my weirdly shaped pizza. I’m not yet a pro at making perfectly shaped pizza dough, but I’m definitely getting there. This pizza gives me rose flower vibes with the way it’s shaped, so I’m not too salty about it.

Comment below what your favorite pizza topping is if you’re a meat-eater. And if you are vegan, let me know how you prepare your pizza. I’m always on the hunt for new recipes and ideas.

Preparation:

For this recipe, you’re going to need a few tools. Some of these tools are expensive, but it will be nice to have them on hand to make things a lot easier especially if you plan on making many batches.

You will need a dough mixer and a potato masher.

If you can’t afford it and you happen to be broke like me then you might need to muzzle up some kneading strength and use a fork to mash your potatoes.

With that being said, let’s begin…
