Okay this spaghetti recipe is for those of you out there who just happen to be super broke. And I say this because I cook this all the time when I’m trying to hold off on spending.
It is not one of those recipes that require so many ingredients to prepare. Because honestly, all the ingredients combined literally cost about $5, if not less. And as for the spices, I’m pretty sure you probably already have them in your kitchen cabinet. So no need to worry about breaking the bank on this one.
Honestly, this recipe was divinely inspired. Because I happened to come up with it at a time in my life when I was super duper broke and only had some canned food sitting in my kitchen cabinet.
And because of that, my brain went into creative mode and started thinking of ways to combine the ingredients I had.
Isn’t it crazy how we become creative when we are in struggle mode? Like our brains just start to think of ways to surive, to the point that we unlock abilities we didn’t even know we had?
Anyways, that’s just how creative I became with this recipe. So I hope you give it a try if you are in a struggle season yourself.
SPAGHETTI RECIPE WITH ROAST BEEF SAUCE
This is basically one of those quick dinner recipes to make when you don’t really feel like cooking. I spent about 20 minutes preparing this and it turned out delicious. Plus, it lasted me about 5 days which is great, because at that time, I really wasn’t trying to break the bank.
I basically used canned roast beef harsh, canned tomato sauce and a box of spaghetti that I had sitting around the kitchen to create this. You’d be surprised that these three ingredients combined together can make this amazing dish.
The roast beef harsh just gives this spaghetti recipe a nice meaty flavor, while the tomato sauce helps to combine all the ingredients into one mouth watering goodness.
I did add some habanero peppers though, because I love spicey food. But this is completely optional if that’s not on your preference list.

Quick And Easy Spaghetti recipe with Roast beef sauce
This is a quick spaghetti recipe made with roast beef harsh and tomato sauce. It's the perfect recipe for dinner time that doesn't break the bank.
- 16 oz spaghetti (Package)
- 14 oz Canned Hormel (Mary Kitchen) Roast Beef Hash
- 14.5 oz Hunts Tomato sauce unsalted
- 4 habanero peppers (chopped) add as much or as little based on how spicy you want it.
- 2 tbsp blended crayfish
- 1 large red onion chopped
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- 1/2 tsp Maggi
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp curry powder
Bring spaghetti to a boil on medium heat with about 4 cups of water and 1 tbsp salt. Add a bit of oil to the water to prevent the pasta from sticking while boiling.
Once spaghetti is cooked, (i.e soft and tender), drain any excess water and set aside.
To a medium-sized pot, heat up your oil on medium heat and throw in your chopped red onion. Fry the onions until the redness slowly starts to fade.
Add in you chopped habanero peppers and Roast beef hash. Stir until the redness in the beef starts to brown
Then throw in your tomato sauce and stirr. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, add in your pasta to the sauce and combine
Serve and Enjoy!
