Delicious And Filling Blackberry Raspberry Smoothie Recipe

This raspberry smoothie just happens to be another favorite smoothie of mine. And I’m sure by now, you’ve probably figured that I’m a die hard smoothie lover.

Last night, I was craving something sweet and juicy. I didn’t want to reach for icecream because of the amount of sugars present, so I decided to opt for a smoothie instead.

I happened to have some strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries sitting in my fridge, as well as some left over bananas. So I decided to make use of the ingredients.

Normally, I add bananas to my smoothies, but this time around, I decided to ditch it and use it for my banana bread recipe.

Thinking that my smoothie would end up bland because of the lack of bananas, it actually ended up tasting very delicious. I honestly believe the vanilla plant based milk I added was what did the trick.

I’ve never been a fan of blackberries. Till date, I still don’t think I like it as a fruit. However, when present in smoothies, it does taste amazing and gives a nice purplish hue to the overall look.

Guys, I can’t describe how filling this smoothie was. I couldn’t even finish the entire cup after blending it. It kept me full throughout the night and satisfied my sweet tooth.

If you ever find yourself craving something sweet, skip the candy aisle and reach for some fruits instead. Your body will honestly thank you for it and you will become more self-controlled. Since I started training myself to make smoothies instead of sugary drinks, I stopped heading for the candy aisle. And it has really helped in keeping my weight and sugar levels in check.

Give this recipe a try if you’re having a very long day at work and need something to keep you full. I promise a few sips of this would satisfy your sugar cravings and keep you filled up.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup blueberries frozen
  • ½ cup strawberries frozen
  • ½ cup raspberries frozen
  • ½ cup blackberries frozen
  • 1 cup regular almond milk
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Throw all your ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth
  • Serve and enjoy!
