So lately, I’ve been playing around with a ton of color schemes, and I’ve just been loving it! It all really started with the orangy vibes I created using the juvia’s place palette, and since then, I’ve just been on a color craze.
If you follow me on Instagram (which you should already be following HERE), you may have come across some of the photos I’ve been posting lately. Honestly, I’m really digging Instagram tutorials that I’m sort of giving up on youtube, and just want to focus mostly on the gram.
I find instagram videos to be a lot more easier to create, and a lot less time consuming to edit. I’m definitely not giving up on youtube, at least not anytime soon, but I’m definitely going to be taking instagram a lot more seriously from now on, so be sure to follow me on there.
So yesterday, I was really into the whole Burgundy vibes, as I had just gotten my nails done with the color, and was feeling inspired to film.
Then the thought of a burgundy look just sort of popped into my head, and I knew in that instant that I had to start recording.
Choosing a palette was definitely the difficult part, because I didn’t want to have to dig into several palettes in order to come up with one look. So I went hunting into my makeup collection, and found the Huda Beauty Obsessions Palette.
I don’t recall ever doing a review on any Huda Beauty products on my blog, and given that I do enjoy using most of her products, I knew the day was eventually going to come.
Huda Beauty Obsessions Palette..
Honestly, this was the only palette that I was able to reach for to give me the Burgundy Vibes. I thought of reaching for the modern renaissance palette, but after seeing that it didn’t have as much Burgundy as I wanted, I had to just let it go.
The Obsessions palette retails for around $27, which I thought was pretty affordable for the quality. I’m always amazed by how much pigment one gets using this palette. I never really have to dig deep into my brush to build pigment, which I really do appreciate about this product.
It is also very travel size friendly and comes with a mirror for the individual who is always on the go. The pan sizes are pretty tiny, but honestly, the formula is definitely worth it.
