I decided to try out cruelty free makeup brands today to create this makeup look because some of my readers tend to solely rely on brands that are cruelty free and I wanted to inspire you guy with this look.
What is a cruelty free makeup brand?
Basically, a cruelty free brand is simply a brand that doesn’t test their products on animals. In other words, neither the ingredients nor the products have been tested on animals after a certification date and will not be tested on animals in the future.

As much as I would like to be on the team of cruelty free makeup lovers, I really can’t at this moment because I do own and use quite a lot of products from non-cruelty free makeup brands. Hopefully in the future things might change (fingers crossed).
For this tutorial, I decided to focus more on affordable makeup. Picking a foundation was quite difficult at first because not many cruelty free affordable brands carry foundations with a decent shade range, so that was a bit difficult. However, I did find a foundation that works from a brand that I already love so much, so it wasn’t a big deal after all.
I enjoyed filming this video because I learned so much about cruelty free makeup and cruelty free brands, so I hope you guys enjoy it as well.
