I’ve been using the bareMinerals complexion rescue tinted moisturizer for a minute now and I’ve got to say, I’m really in love with this product.
If you don’t already know, I quit wearing makeup about 5 months ago and decided to jump back in recently. And so far, I’ve been reaching for products that offer a natural-like finish.
So far, the bareMinerals complexion rescue tinted moisturizer has been my go-to and I thought to give you all my review on it.
I can’t tell you enough how much I love this tinted moisturizer. Most importantly, I can’t rave enough about the shade range.
For a tinted moisturizer, it has such an amazing variety of shades for several skin tones that it’s almost impossible to overlook it.
If you didn’t know, one of my biggest struggles for the longest time was always finding the right tinted moisturizer. Several high end and drugstore brands usually released shades that were never in the dark skin category, as a result, I couldn’t wear tinted moisturizers.
Thankfully, brands like bareMinerals realized this need for tinted moisturizers, especially for dark skin girls like me and made a diverse range.
If you are on the hunt for a tinted moisturizer, look no further, bareMinerals has it all.
I specifically like this tinted moisturizer over other brands of tinted moisturizers because it has amazing coverage.
I have not tried any other tinted moisturizer yet that blends really well with my skin tone and offers amazing coverage as this does. This product offers so much more and I can’t be more thankful for it.
One thing however that I kind of wish this tinted moisturizer offered is a matte finish. As someone who tends to get oily around the T-zone area, I often reach for foundations that offer a matte finish. Knowing that this offers the complete opposite of a matte finish was a bummer to me. But, I can’t really complain because it leaves a natural skin-like finish that I love so much.
- Skin-like finish
- Sheer to medium coverage
- Contains SPF 30
- Diverse shade range
- Shiny/oily finish
- Expensive (High End)
BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream
So far using this product, I haven’t had any issues with it. It doesn’t break me out or cause any skin irritation. In fact, it does help the overall appearance and texture of my skin. I would strongly recommend wearing this product as an actual moisturizer and not a foundation. Because it does provide all the benefits of a regular moisturizer without being full coverage. However, you can build it up to full coverage, but I don’t necessarily recommend doing so.
If you are a “no-makeup makeup” kind of girl, this will be the perfect tinted moisturizer for you. It honestly looks just like skin and does a great job of evening out your skin tone.
I personally don’t wear it on a regular basis, but if you are in the cooperate world, this will be perfect for long hours in the office. Most people may not even recognize you’re wearing a tinted moisturizer unless you tell them.
Overall, I would rate this product a 4.8 star, because it offers all the benefits I need in a tinted moisturizer. I just won’t rate it a 5 star solely because the finish is shiny.
